While we know how to boot Windows in to Safe Mode using
the msconfig tool, we have seen how to make Windows show Advanced Boot Options and use it to boot into safe mode.
On Windows 7, this manager is part of
the msconfig tool rather than the Task Manager.

For older versions of Windows, you'll need to search for
MSConfig and make the change within the System Configuration
tool.

MSConfig, that allows you to quickly and easily see what's running at startup and disable the programs you prefer to run on our own after startup as needed.

tool, you can open the Run dialog box, type
msconfig and hit Enter.
