The flavors are so unique (coco - lemon, cinnamon -
maca, and cacao goji) and I love how BIG these
bars are.
But it may not be long before elecampane's on the menu at your local juice
bar, right there next to the
maca and hemp powders.
These
bars are obviously a great way to experiment with sesame seeds, I love the combination of flavour with sweet dried apricots and the tangy notes of the
maca powder.

The last thing I look for in a good
bar is simply a bonus if it does contain any... and that would be if it has any superfoods or greens... superfoods such as spirulina,
maca, blue - green algae, kelp, chlorella, goji berry, raw cacao or organic cocoa powder, and other greens, etc..

Maca has a subtle nutty, almost caramel - y taste, so the powder is just as good in smoothies and hot drinks as it is energy bites and
bars.
If you want chocolate, eat magnesium - rich foods like pumpkin seeds, beans and
maca powder, OR go for a high - quality, 80 % dark chocolate
bar (she suggests that you limit it to two small squares at a time and look for brands that are organic and support Fair Trade).

Unlike ashwagandha (which tastes gawd - awful),
maca is easy to add to smoothies, desserts, elixirs, power
