I wrote in my
review of the film: «With Ex
Machina, Alex Garland shows that he's just as talented as a director as he is a writer, and that he should definitely keep challenging the science fiction genre.
As always, we begin by
reviewing a few key films from the past month, and this time they all reflect our future in some way: Brad Bird's Tomorrowland, George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road, and Alex Garland's Ex
Machina.

The movie also garnered rave
reviews following its premiere at SXSW, and between Garland's reputation for thought - provoking sci - fi and the brilliant casting, «Ex
Machina» is shaping up to be something special indeed.

The film is his directorial follow - up to the critically - acclaimed Ex

reviews.
Although I feel like I haven't been to the theater in weeks (having only gone once last week) I had some
reviews waiting in the wings for publication, including the excellent Ex
Machina (in addition to an interview I did with director Alex Garland), an unexpectedly favorable assessment of social media horror Unfriended, a less favorable walkthrough of James Franco / Jonah Hill crime tale True Story and a gushing
review of Noah Baumbach «s latest hit While We're Young.
«The first great film of 2015,» we wrote in our
review of «Ex
Machina» back in January, when the film opened in the U.K. and that's a risky claim.

Lex
Machina reports that 316 ANDA cases were filed in 2016 compared to 468 in 2015; number of inter partes

Based on data from Lex

Many have asked about the role of PMEs in the trends identified in Lex

I was just reading an article about Lex
Machina's recently released findings from its Third Annual Patent Litigation Year End
Review Report.
At the time the data for the 2013 Year in
Review was compiled, [6] this PACER record caused the false attribution of the patents at issue in that case to LM Ericsson, leading Lex
Machina to mistakenly report LM Ericsson as the plaintiff with the most patents asserted in cases open during 2013.
