I aimed for a
salad that can be eaten as a
main course, and besides the addition of protein - rich beans in the dressing, there are crispy, golden tempeh «croutons» that will fill you up nicely.
Forget the
main course, just give me this
salad and bread and I will be one happy women.
Cheese - Not always, but I love a bit of cheese in my
salad; but only if the
main course does not have cheese in it.

If I were to try to properly combine this after a meal, I'd plan for having a large leafy green
salad as my
main course to help the brownie digest better.
It's a cousin to your moroccan carrot
salad (which we love), but it is more filling b / c of the chickpeas and almonds in it (so, I feel okay with it being a «
main course» for our dinner, and eat whatever is leftover as a side with some grilled meat the next day).

I still remember when I was a kid, my brother and I loved this noodle
salad so much that we stuffed ourselves with it and barely had enough room for the
main course, such as pork dumplings, sweet and sour meatballs, braised pork, and so on.
All the meals for every time of day are covered off: Breakfast, Smoothies, Drinks and Juices, Snacks,
Salads, Dressings,
Main Courses, Pasta and Noodles, Sides and Desserts.
Serve the beet
salad atop a bed of arugula or mixed greens for a
main course salad, or alongside a simple chicken breast, tofu, or polenta steak for a well - balanced dinner.
I ate this as a
main course with a side
salad.
