Just because I think it's asinine that God would make the toast doesn't negate the possibility.

Made this today, and used Bramley cooking apples which are quite sharp, and they kept their shape, turned out a treat, doesn't look as pretty as yours, BUT I think
toasted with some pate it would be LUSH!

made with whole eggs and just egg yolks: Without the whites, you don't have that burned / crusty quality that can happen on regular French
toast, and you also wind up with a nice yellow color.
If you're smart — you'll double it and freeze some like I
did so you can
make the stuffing AND the french

I will admit that I am a novice at yeast breads and this one
did not come together as attractively as I would've liked it to but it was delicious and I
made some outrageously delicious french
toast from it, so no problems here.
I would
make the bread ahead for sure and even
toast the cubes and freeze, but don't mix the stuffing until right before baking and then serve within and hour or two after that at the latest.
We love the pumpkin bread as is, and it
does make delicious french

One of my favorite summer sweets is s» mores — chocolate and
toasted marshmallows sandwiched between graham crackers — but those are hard to
make on a picnic if you don't have access to a fire.
