The 2 Phase Expression technology is the same feature that I loved about
the Medela Swing.
I can totally understand how it would be cheaper to buy
a Medela Swing and an extra Freestyle Pump Kit.
You will notice that the tubing for
the Medela Swing is triangular in shape while Medela Freestyle tubing is circular.
The pump strength is pretty much like
the Medela Swing.
I used to look at the tubing hose of
my Medela Swing because it sometimes builds up moisture inside.
This just doesn't happen with
the Medela Swing since it is a single breastpump.

I've had 3 breast pumps before: The Playtex Manual Breast Pump,
the Medela Swing and the Medela Freestyle.
But before I had Freestyle, my then breast pump was
the Medela Swing.
It still blows my mind that in the first few months of pumping I was using a single
Medela Swing, pumping one breast at a time so many times a day!

medela swing but as it's single breast, it takes almost an hour or more per pumping session.

Yes, I am thinking, that can convert
the Medela Swing in a double pump, as I know, Freestyle and Swing has the same motor capacity, so I think that if I can get a Freestyle tubing can use my Medela Swing as a double pump, but I am not shure if it will fit in.
From that point, I was able to pump (with the pump I had bought prior to the birth: our single pump,
the Medela Swing Pump, because I thought I would only need to pump on rare occasions).
After owning TWO
medela swing which lost the suction after eight weeks each time, I decided to fork out the extra # 50 for this one.

They don't make any noise (the breast pump reviews I've read do show that
the Medela Swing which is the electric pump I got is fairly quiet compared to some of the cheaper brands)
If you are looking for a single pump,
the Medela Swing Breastpump ($ 120) has a lot of the same features for a whole lot less.
I really like the look of
the Medela Swing Electric Breast Pump, so I think that will be the one I will be looking into purchasing.
