meet one of this country's extraordinary and iconic marsupials — the
koala.
Koalas water needs are
met almost entirely by the moisture found in the vast quantities of eucalyptus leaves they eat; smaller females rarely drink water directly and only the largest and most active males seek out water in tree hollows and the like.
