I spray painted the inside of this clear bottle to give it the mirrored

I'm seeing
mercury glass on everything from ornaments to lamps, but who would have guessed that there is a mirror
effect spray paint that makes this an easy DIY project even for craft - challenged folks to make their very own
mercury glass!
A could - be-tacky artificial tinsel tree gets elevated to glamorous
effect with dozens upon dozens of silver, green and
mercury -
glass mini balls.
Adding some frosty branches and
mercury glass jars helped add some sparkle to the tree and I truly believe the more «fancy» ornaments and the homemade ones can peacefully co-exist and create a wonderful layered
effect.
I added these sparkly tiny
mercury glass ornaments to the base and love the
effect.
Spraying the
glass with water before applying spray paint creates a pretty frosted, weathered
effect reminiscent of
mercury glass.
