Midnight Madness audience will love.
After being announced as part the
Midnight Madness line - up at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, the first trailer for Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths has
just arrived.
This was the festival with the single greatest
Midnight Madness lineup in the festival's history, featuring Man Bites Dog, Tokyo Decadence, Candyman, Romper Stomper, Tetsuo II: Body Hammer and Peter Jackson's Braindead, which would ultimately be retitled Dead - Alive and still be
just as much bloody fun.
I would say that the one that kind of represents the
Midnight Madness experience the most might be Takashi Miike's Yakuza Apocalypse, because it is
just a gonzo brain - melter.
What we celebrate with
Midnight Madness is that it's
just a wild, crazy, fun ride.
The festival has a
Midnight Madness section devoted to
just the sorts of films that makes you think of.
