I was immediately curious about this recipe when I read
through it — the
mixing technique is one I have never done before — the egg is
mixed in at the very end, after the flour and even the
oats and raisins!
In a medium size bowl,
mix all ingredients together (rolled
oats through cinnamon) and chill overnight.
Prepare the freshly ground oat flour by feeding the
oats through the KitchenAid ® Grain Mill attached to the power hub of your Stand
Mixer.
Add the
oats through the chopped dates to a large
mixing bowl and toss to combine.
Mix through until the mixture looks like crumbs and dates have
mixed through the
oats.
Mix dry ingredients, (
oats through raisins) in a large bowl, and stir well.
