Mix white acrylic paint with water to a very fluid, runny consistency.

We painted ours with a couple of layers of ordinary,
white ready -
mix paint, although
acrylics looks really effective too!
I use a
mix of chalk paint (the
white base is a Rustoleum chalk paint product) and
acrylic (for the actual flowers).
I
mixed some the turquoise and purple with regular
white acrylic paint to make softer shades and it worked fine.
I
mixed a custom colour using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Antibes and Old
White with a little bit of turquoise
acrylic paint added, I got as close to the colour of the handles as I could.
Create a rough rose outline by
mixing some of the blue and
white acrylic paint to create a pale blue shade.
As I didn't have a baby blue colour at home, I decided to experiment and
mixed some blue
acrylic paint with
white Annie Sloan chalk paint.
To make any color you want, make your
mix using the
white contractor paint, then add any color
acrylic tube paint (s) to get your color.
No matter,
acrylics is a very forgiving medium, so I
mixed some almost
white paint (a little lighter than the sky) and made it a touch runnier with a drop of water, so it would flow better.

Since the mid-1960s, Corse has developed an innovative technique that involves
mixing acrylic paint with tiny glass beads commonly used in the
white lines of lane dividers on highways and painting vertical bands onto the canvas.

In 1968, she began to embed glass microspheres, tiny reflective beads commonly used to brighten highway signs, in her paintings by
mixing them with
white acrylic paint.

mixing and modulating her own shades of
acrylic paint, skilfully diluting and
mixing them with chalky
white gesso to create luminous, light infused colour.

For that, I like using a paint that has more «body» to it, so I used
