Try a fresh twist this year with a few no - carve pumpkin decorating ideas — use stencils and craft
paint to apply your house numbers or state silhouette; or coat dried leaves with
Mod Podge for an elegant nature - inspired look.
The
Mod Podge seals them so
paint won't bleed under them!
Once you rubberband is in place, use a
paint brush and brush on
Mod Podge below it in small sections, adding glitter as you go.
Once the
Mod Podge is dry, use your
paint brush and brush on another coat on top of the glitter to set it so it won't come off.
Your child can apply two coats of
Mod Podge, then spray
paint the shoes gold.
Clear spray
paint or
Mod Podge gloss spray work well (Thanks Lindsay for the suggestion!)
After
painting, I decoupaged the fish paper to the doors using
Mod Podge.
The
Mod Podge seals the stencil preventing the
paint from seeping underneath.
STEP 2: Dip your

paint the bottom fourth of each tag.

While decorating my eggs, I came up with the idea of
painting them in chalkboard
paint so I could easily reuse and redecorate them, in case I do want to
mod podge inside.

painted with food coloring mixed with
Mod Podge and you're good to go with the bling factor...

Podged on and sprayed with a protecting sealer.

To prevent the
paint from chipping, use a sealant like
Mod Podge.
If you want the little curly twine like I added to mine above, you'll just wrap a piece of jute string around a pencil and
paint it with
Mod Podge.

Use some existing frames (or thrifted ones, or inexpensive ones),
mod podge, spray
paint and, of course, glitter!
I traced and cut out the E, then
painted a thin layer of
Mod Podge.
I may
paint this or
mod podge paper to the top, but for now, it works just fine!
I actually
painted over a
Mod Podge print that was already mounted on the foam core.
After the
paint was dry, I brush a thin layer of
Mod Podge around the edge of the glass, sprinkled them with gold glitter then shook off the excess.

I started out with a blank canvas, foam brushes, orange craft
paint and
Mod Podge — all from Hobby Lobby.
It's simple to glitter any surface:

Those are very beautiful I made a lamp once with a 5 gallon pickle jar I
mod podged copies of my son on his dirt bike on the in side and used a matching
paint color behind that he was 13 then and now 23.
When the
paint dries, coat the front of the letters with
Mod Podge or tacky glue with a
paint brush.
