Modular Standard Platform (MSB) has been developed by Porsche for use here in the Panamera, as well as in other VW Group premium large cars — think future Bentley Continental GT.

standard A3, it's built on the VW Group's latest
modular MQB
platform, so the car shares key engineering elements with models including the SEAT Leon, Volkswagen Golf and Passat, and Audi's own TT — with more to come.
There's a new
modular platform underpinning the mid-sized sedan, extra driver - assist safety technology as
standard, suave looks and more performance from the Hybrid and V6 variants.
However, hopefully the next - gen Panamera — likely for 2016 or 2017 — riding on the lighter, Porsche - developed MSB (
modular standard)
platform rumored for Bentley (owned by Volkswagen, as is Porsche) will not only go even faster, but look the part as well.
