SNMMI's Outreach
Program offers online lectures for referring physicians to increase their understanding of how to best integrate nuclear medicine and
molecular imaging into the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of patients.
The purpose of the
program is to provide experience and training in nuclear medicine /
molecular imaging modalities in the areas of cardiology, neurology, and oncology.
Projects within our
program emphasize

SNMMI educational
programs are designed to meet the professional development needs of technologists in the field of nuclear medicine and
molecular imaging, as well as providing them with continuing education credit opportunities.
The Center for Cancer Targeted Therapies (C2T2) integrates a phase I - Ib / early clinical trials
program, a precision cancer medicine infrastructure with expertise on tumor tissue - based state - of - the - art
molecular methods, and a core resource with novel non-invasive functional
imaging methods.
Up to 40 investigators will eventually be part of this new
program, including teams looking at experimental therapeutics, cancer stem cells,
molecular imaging and genomics.
In addition, they integrate their research objectives with those of the Biomarker Sciences
Program committees to incorporate predictive / prognostic
molecular and
imaging biomarkers into therapeutic trials, whenever possible.
