The only
question for many consumers
right now is who they hate
more — their cell phone carrier or their cable provider.
The better
question,
right now, is a lot
more basic: Will the UP work?
More surprisingly, 62 % felt it was all
right to be bothered at work by a friend with a personal
question.
There's actually a pretty good answer to this
question — one that's especially relevant for startups — and a pretty simple guideline that can help you determine exactly (a) when is the best time to start hiring some qualified sales managers and (b) whether the time is
right for the CEO to take a step or two back from the front line, hand off the ball to the sales team, and focus on doing
more valuable things for the business.
The
question to ask, when you feel pride, then, is this: What am I missing
right now that a
more humble person might see?
For personal matters,
questions should be
more focused on individual improvement — the
right answers help you become a
more mindful partner, friend or parent.
That said, the most important
question, far
more important than the pace at which you reached the summit, is whether or not you climbed the

right question to help someone get a little clearer, or maybe you can reinforce the importance of a project to help a team become a little
more committed.
The importance of asking the
right questions and following up with even
more more questions can not be overemphasized when you want to solve difficult problems or to create something truly original.
Take your most important goal
right now — whether it's to lose weight, make
more money, or land the promotion at work — and spend some time focusing all of your attention towards getting very clear about the answers to the
questions I just proposed.

more important in people's lives, is what's the
right regulation?
As you look at those two columns, ask yourself this

more on the left column or the
right column?»
