For that reason, I'm kind of glad
more dungeon crawlers have leaned more towards story / character - driven RPG design, as opposed to the old - school variety where your party was a vehicle of emotionless stats to simply carry the player through a dungeon.
More dungeon crawling you can shake a stick at and lots of loot and interesting enemies to uncover.
Hell, it almost throws loot at you, demanding that you hoard it all away and keep searching just one
more dungeon for that next piece in a set of armour or a new pair of chakram (I'll get to those babies later) to wield.
Those 3 dungeon gave the game a total of 11 main and 8 side dungeon so the DLC gave you 20 %
more dungeon or around 10 % more to do / gametime in the game for 33 % more money.

Dungeons of Dredmor also has lots of mod capabilities, so if you like to mod, you'll have even

more than 3 classes, and co-op!)
A bit
more of a story than «Bad stuff is happening, lets go into this
dungeon and keep on going deeper till we find it» would have been nice.
Thankfully, the developers added some variety in the overworld maps and if the
dungeons were
more interesting and sidequests played a larger role then I could see this being a contender for one of the best modern RPGs.

Given how many
dungeons, dragons and mages RPGs tend to contain, Kingdom Come's strictly historical approach often seems
more fantastical and mysterious than its peers.
It's an interesting concept that will hopefully freshen up the aging franchise - with interconnected
dungeons we can expect
more mystery and story possibilities.
