There's also
Moto Key, which allows you to sign in to websites,
apps, or even your Windows computer using the phone's fingerprint sensor,
Moto Voice for voice commands, and the popular
Moto Display for ambient notifications.
These three devices will therefore offer a very similar interface and experience, though the
Moto Z2 Force offers a new addition to the
Moto app called
Moto Key, which is a security and password manager that debuts on the device.
There are more
Moto - specific functions available, such as one - button navigation, where you can hide the Android navigation bar and use the fingerprint sensor to navigate;
Moto Voice, which lets you see the weather, calendar appointments, or launch
apps just by using the «Show me» trigger phrase; and
Moto Key, which allows you to log into password - secured websites on your laptop or desktop with the X4's fingerprint sensor.
That's something the company does rather well: its four pillars of additions -
Moto Key (use the device to unlock other devices, such as your Windows PC),
Moto Actions (physical actions to perform tasks, such as torch / camera launch),
Moto Display (night mode and always - on display) and
Moto Voice (as above, voice assistant)- are all housed in a single point umbrella
app, called
Moto.
The Fingerprint sensor can not be used a Home button but if you go into
Moto app, then you can replace all the home
keys, swipe left for «back», right for «recent
apps» and a tap for home.
