Surprisingly, snacks like granola bars, protein bars and dried
fruit can contain as
much, if not more, sugar than their
unhealthy rivals, such as chocolate bars.
Just like too
much oatmeal or
fruit would be
unhealthy out of moderation.
Much of the «
fruit» yogurt in supermarkets have gobs of
unhealthy sugar and flavors added to them, even the yogurts that have healthy - looking pictures of
fruit on their containers.
People sometimes tease me because I don't allow my kids to eat
unhealthy foods while we're at the ball field — «Just let the poor kid have a candy bar» — and I love being able to reply that my kids would
much rather have
fruit anyway.
They include eating a lot more
fruits, vegetables and whole grains, limiting
unhealthy fats, salt and added sugar and exercising for as
much as 90 minutes per day to stay fit.
Since these are common staples in many processed foods,
unhealthy dietary options are cheaper than
much healthier
fruit and vegetable options.
Getting the fats right was the single change that I made over ten years ago that finally made me feel fantastic after years of eating organic
fruits / veggies and meats and still feeling pretty
unhealthy much of the time.
You can use
fruit but sure you don't give your rabbit too
much as it can contain a lot of sugar which is
unhealthy, If your rabbit likes crunchy things then a bag of dry food.
Your rabbit would be
much better off eating leafy greens and other vegetables in moderation — raisins and other dried
fruits are rather
unhealthy for bunnies.
Fruits like peaches, on the other hand, are
much lower in calories, sugar, and
unhealthy fats.
Unfortunately sweet is what makes things
unhealthy, even too
much fruit, so we love this since it's a good healthy balance that not only tastes good but is good for you, too!
