NEW STRIKER COMING TO ARSENAL.
For a few games, until Giroud is ready /
a new striker comes in, would it be so bad to have a front line of Sanchez, Akpom, and Ox / Walcott?
I would happily see
a new striker come in and freshen things up, bolster our options and offer goals when we really need them — because WHEN you score often has a big impact, as opposed to Liverpool's 101 goals that did not prevent them losing costly matches in 2013 - 2014.
I cant see
any new strikers coming and as I've said on this forum on countless occasions you have to read what Wenger says in press statements and then translate it....

I do hope that Arsene Wenger has a fantastic ace up his sleeve when it
comes to getting a
new striker for Arsenal fans to cheer about in the current summer transfer window, but I must admit to living more in hope than expectation and as the days and weeks tick by my concern increases that it will be the same old story for us.
We ALL know that theres NOT going to be any «top class
strikers»
coming to the emerites this summer, Wenger is sitting on his hands yet again and the reason for this is that he expects France to win the euro's and if they do he can spout about how Giroud is the best
striker in Europe and then he will have no reason to spend any money on a
new guy.
«When I talked about the spine and talking about the goalkeeper and a centre - back and a holding midfielder and a
striker, I'm not saying to the guys [who are already there] «leave and let [
new guys]
come and play», no, [I'm saying] compete.»
Nothing you could ever do to Giroud would ever make him
come good just nothing. Its not a formation set up that gets a player to dribble, score, be world class, be dependable, wow the crowd and the like. Its the players» own ability that makes him do that.Once you don't have it ya ain't gat it brother.Read my lips!!!!! Once ya don't have it ya ain't gat it.As simple as ABC.So I expect this to be another de ja vu case and waste of time if Giroud and Alexis are paired.I'm even shocked it's
coming from Henry. He should rather be giving us more reasons why we need a
new striker and why we would fail if we don't get the
new striker.Forget Giroud's stats for a moment and judge him by how he plays when you are watching him.You would realize that given the same chances at Arsenal
strikers who are not even world class can do better.I want a
new striker even if not world class and to be honest its not necessarily a world class
striker that wins you a league but just increases the chances of winning it.Peace!!!!

Figuring sparingly last season, he saw himself lose his place in favour of the

Nice to say our wise and great leader writer but whether it translates on the pitch is another matter altogether. The problems in arsenal honestly is more than 2 signings however those two signings are
coming to the position where we need them the most so we will take it so.But is he really going to do that as from his actions it implies we do not need a
new dmf but for a
striker i think it crosses his mind at times. He just needs to do the right its like he has lost control or something.I just do not get him again.Imagine dropping Ox who is currently our most effective and best player right now as he is in form. Then he puts Gabriel on the bench for who.He is kidding. He then keeps players who should be released or sold and plays them. This is nonsense.
