not Christianity — because
in the Bible, Jesus says you should
pray in private,
in a closet,
not in public in order to be seen, as the hypocrites do.

praying for it for 12 years since my own marriage failed

I'm liberal, and atheist, but
in occasions such as this, I will still bow my head at
public events for prayers and whatnot,
not that I'm
praying, but out of respect for the beliefs of those around me.
Just as a Muslim person may wish to wear a certain item of clothing
in public or stop to
pray at a given time of the day... or a Jew may wish to wear a Star of David or yarmulke and offer prayer while dining... they are

This country certainly does
not cater to religious beliefs, given that you can't even say the word «
pray»
in a
public school anymore, and we have a president who is pushing for everyone to pay for contraceptives.
Being prohibited from persecuting others (by forcing Jewish kids to
