It wasn't as
sweet as the other
bars and had a faintly disgusting root vegetable taste.
I haven't been able to find a wholesome store - bought granola
bar that doesn't taste like cardboard or isn't too

Bars were a delicious treat, though I'd cut back on the maple syrup a little if I were making these as a breakfast
bar, they err on dessert level

They're

I can't remember what the old candy
bar it resembles is called but just think
sweet yummy coconut covered in chocolate - yum!
I just made it for the 3rd time in 2 weeks, (once was for a class of kids, so my hips aren't entirely hateful... lol,) I have no idea what Symphony
bars are, I used a combination of Skor bits, white chocolate and semi
sweet chocolate in the centre... the kids love it, I love it, Hubby loves it, all the teachers asked for the recipe... LOVE this recipe!!!! Thanks!
Great idea, and I really like that they are
not overly
sweet, unlike every other kind of fruit based
bar.
I normally don't make
sweets just for me but I believe these
bars are calling me.
Unlike my blondies or peanut butter
bars, the base of this
sweet treat isn't a nut butter.
The
bars came out very moist and
not too
sweet.
I also love that although it is
sweet, it isn't overly
sweet like so many granola
bars (thanks to the coconut sugar).
One issue I take with energy
bars it that they're often too
sweet —
not every snack needs to be an over the top candy
bar flavor.
Reminds me of the hu kitchen crack
bars but even better because they're
not quite as
sweet.

bars are a little bit
sweet, but

For a
sweet treat that doesn't pack on the calories, sprinkle any of the following toppings on some low - fat ice cream: chocolate
