The model stepped out in N.Y.C. ahead of
NYFW in a white tank, wool shawl, and matching fuzzy slides, but it was her denim that had us talking.
Hadid stepped out looking conductor - chic during
NYFW in a red cap, denim button - up dress, and a Chanel belt.
I can't wait to wear this jacket for
NYFW in February with more statement pieces for a super bold look.
Chartreuse is my favorite color - I love that it was featured at
NYFW in February.
Matching your blazer to your trousers (or vice-versa) is one of the most popular trends and I'm here for it — remember this Banana Republic suit from

Looking ahead to more fun things in the coming months, starting with
NYFW in February.
The show was a stunner of it's own (unfortunately I lived this one vicariously through some blogger friends on Instagram but the 30th anniversary show I got to see at
NYFW in February was just as jaw - dropping), but the collection was everything I'd been craving in fashion at the time.
The musician barely covered up as as she exited the Adidas Originals x Kanye West show at
NYFW in an off - the - shoulder Julia Seemann design.
It has always been my dream since I was a youngster to attend
NYFW in any way, shape or form, so this season I am excited to not only catch up with my LA blogger pals who are flying in for the festivities but also to network with some of my idols in the industry Anyways... back to the focus of today... reptile prints and crochet shorts... yes... shorts in the fall, why not?My black crochet shorts are from Urban Outfitters, I found similar ones from ChicWish because I bought these babies on clearance probably two years ago and they are no longer available.
As I've talked about before, London fashion week shares many similarities with
NYFW in terms of style.
I've always wanted to go, and completely and whole heartedly agree that I would never even consider
the NYFW in February because winter.
My goal is to be invited to
NYFW in the future!
So, we got to
NYFW in February.
I think LFW outdid
NYFW in terms of creativity and new looks.
The style star looked chic during
NYFW in a printed plush coat, ripped skinnies, and pointy booties.
I will talk more about
NYFW in greater detail in a later post this week, but I truly had the best time!
Not exact matches
For this year's
NYFW, she is working with a partner to film the show
in virtual reality.
I was able to go to
NYFW last year, but as I explained
in Tuesday's blog post, I will be staying
in Chicago this year.
NYFW is also a great time to reach out to some bigger publications you've been dying to work with ie Refinery29, WhoWhatWear, WWD, to tell them you'll be
in town and you'd love to get
in for a meeting.

When I was
in New York City a couple of months ago for
NYFW, I had the greatest privilege of meeting Lyn from @iconaccidental.
One of my goals for
NYFW was to network a bit, so it helps to leave a little cushion
in your schedule (when possible), so you can talk to the people around you.
Either way,
NYFW street style has changed a LOT
in recent years.
The last time I wore it was
in NYFW here to my first day of meetings
in the city, and it is currently sold out but if your lucky they normally have them
in store to purchase or different styles.
Have fun

Tiffany, the owner of Namedroppers, was there that afternoon and
in talking to her, she found out I was going to
NYFW.
However, these days when looking at
NYFW street style, the lines have blurred somewhere
in the middle.
But I definitely look forward to wearing this bag

I've had a really hectic past couple of days settling back

I was ridiculously excited to come home from
NYFW to find Texas was
in the midst of a freak cold snap.
Although it was
NYFW, I actually stayed far away from the chaos (and mostly stayed
in sweatpants during the kickoff).
