A knitted textile based on the polymeric composite fibres, produced at the Australian
National Fabrication Facility, is highly sensitive, stable and able to detect a wide range of human movement.
It was devised by Andrew Dzurak, director of the Australian
National Fabrication Facility at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), and Dr Menno Veldhorst, lead author of the paper who was a research fellow at UNSW when the conceptual work was done.
