After finally getting a chance to
see Naughty Dog's The Last of Us in action, we can confirm that fans of moody, gritty survival tales will want to keep a close eye on this PS3 exclusive.

see what the «NEXT GENERATION» would look like... Thankfully there are devs in the lines of Crytek,
Naughty Dog and GG that are looking to make this generation belong where it is... I think you've forgotten the fact that only 5 or 10 games went past a million with the original Xbox... If I start to dole out numbers for the original XBOX games you'll stand truly ashamed...
While the first half of the demo focused on the car chase that everyone
saw at Sony's presentation on Monday, what followed immediately after showed
Naughty Dog's dedication to never taking the control out of the player's hands if it doesn't have to, as well as giving the action sequences of Uncharted 4 a level of flair that even the previous games never quite reached.
I always like to
see / hear the
Naughty Dog group talk about the process of making the Uncharted games.
Attempting to describe the velocity of this entire sequence does it no favors, and hopefully
Naughty Dog is planning to release it in the coming days, as there has been nothing that has sold me more on what it means to bring Uncharted into the next generation than this sequence that the public has yet to
see.
It was fascinating to
see how
Naughty Dog built on the Tomb Raider formula in the Uncharted games over the last generation; here, Lara reclaims her identity and carries the adventure game into the next gen.
Whatever happens, we can't wait to
see Naughty Dog strike cold once again.
Seeing the big increase on last year (including companies like Microsoft, Sony,
Naughty Dog, Turtle Rock and Harmonix getting involved), has really been quite something, it can only lead to good things.

I thought VV and Crash only went back as far as the GBA; it's really cool to
see you're still super passionate about Crash after all these years and able to dig into ancient
Naughty Dog work.
