Recently my 11 month old Mini Bull Terrier swallowed
a nectarine pit and needed to go to the emergency room, although they did not see the pit in her stomach I was told to watch her closely.

Specifically, the fruit's
pit was too difficult to remove in large quantities and often left its oils in the
nectarine juice.

Cut the
nectarine along the seam and twist to remove the
