I learned
about a whole range of things you'd
never expect to have to
know when you get a
dog, including, but not limited to, housetraining, nail clipping,
dog aggression, barking, allergies (that one also cost me a lot of money in vet bills over the years), interactions between a variety of people and
dogs, and what happens to a
dog when it gets very old.
i am so surprised
about the Samoyed, they are the dearest and most good natured
dogs!!!!!!!!! mabye they bark at the cats but as i

know they would
never harm them.
Television has people brainwashed
about these
dogs... little house
dogs attack an bite people everyday but the American Pit Bull Terrier always makes headlines and is demonized... I am against

know that??? Makes me sick when people stereotype an 9 times out of 10 they

So, when you hear
about a «pit bull» attacking some person or animal, you

know what kind of

No matter what kind of

about your
dog not being able to be trained because of its breed or size.
My

dogs my whole life, it is amazing the things I didn't

know that if you're talking
about a purebred
dog and you've
never even heard of it, it's not going to be cheap because it's obviously not one that is frequently bred.
why in my right mind a single father let someone into my home just because they rescue
dogs, i have people i have
known for years that have
never been to my home, saying that you have to come to my home then give you the price of a store bought
dog nuts, i could just go buy a
dog most times for the same price and not worry
about the drama.
Of course, you can think you
know everything there is to
know about dogs and how they think and feel, just because you grew up with them — and then end up adopting a breed new to you or an abused rescue or puppy mill
dog... even a senior
dog when you've
never had one before!
if pit bulls
never existed, you
know we'd all be saying that a
dog like the rottwelier was horrible and needed to be put down like some are saying
about pit bulls for once people GIVE THE PIT BULLS A CHANCE AT LOVE AND TO PROVE THAT THEY CAN LIVE A LIFE LIKE THE GOLDEN RETIVER OR THE YELLOW LAB HAS!

dog» and has developed a detailed picture of the type of
dog they're breeding toward * almost always compete in some in some sort of activity with their
dogs (conformation, working activities, obedience etc.) so as to have a realistic idea of how their
dogs compare to others of the same the breed * is knowledgable
about the hereditary problems that occur in their breed and has the appropriate tests done prior to breeding in order to decrease the likelihood of their occurance in their pups * considers temperament important * is knowledgable
about the mating and whelping of
dogs in general, so as to minimize the chances of injury or death to the breeding
dogs * is extremely concerned with the quality of the homes that their puppies are destinied for, to the point of not performing a breeding if they don't feel good homes will be available for the pups *
never has more
dogs of their own than they are properly able to care for * is willing and able to educate and build a relationship with their puppy buyers * is honest * uses spay / neuter contracts and / or limited registration to prevent the casual breeding of their puppies * is ALWAYS willing to take back a
dog of their breeding if a puppy buyer can not keep it for any reason.
I
never thought
about a Jack Russell, but what I
knew about them was that they were small
dogs with big
dog personalities.
No bones
about it:
No matter how much they beg,
dogs should
never be given turkey bones to chew on.
Many
dogs are very nervous
about meeting other
dogs on walks — understandably so, since you
never know how the other
dog may react to a meeting!
So, while we in the veterinary world may not yet
know everything there is to
know about grape, raisin, and currant toxicity in
dogs, we do
know enough to strongly recommend that people
never knowingly feed grapes, raisins, or currants to their
dogs and that they take all reasonable and necessary steps to prevent their
dog's accidental exposure to them as well.
It is so very sad, until now, I
never knew about the Amish breeding so many
dogs.
She
never had a problem and I wish I had
known about it sooner, we wasted 6 months trying different remedies and saddling her with diapers (which is fine if necessary, but obviously not a real SOLUTION, nor is it fun for a
dog).
And how many other cats and
dogs have they betrayed that we will
never know about?
We all
know that there is
never any guarantee
about length of life, either for our
dogs or ourselves.
Okay I don't feed my
dogs or cats blue but
know people that do and
never have had any issues all food to me is basically the same I feed my
dogs Iams and nutro natural choice and science diet it's all
about what my
dogs and cats want and will eat I have switched trying to get them to al eat the same thing it's all
about the
dog or the cat and what food they will like and eat not what you want to feed them some are picky some aren't Blue Buffalo is good food just like some may say pedigree is good oh well let them eat what they want if it upsets their stomach switch to something else just like us you go get food they say this and that is in it is it really pesticides bugs etc come on are food is just as bad as every kind of
dog food ugh people let it go it is what it is
I've
never had a pug (or had one in our family, which has had many
dogs) so don't
know much
about them.
I am going again to be doing Beach Cottage Love Your Christmas Home and it starts this week — if you remember last year this little series is
about having a pretty not perfect home this season and keeping it all real girl and thinking
about what you want, instead, and (more importantly what is do - able), of opening Christmas magazines of amazing spreads and beautiful houses (which we all actually
know were styled by marketing people, a tonne of assistants and stylists in July) and feeling total and utter let down that your houses / life / food / upper arms will
never ever look like that anytime soon when it's really just you and the
dog thinking
about Christmas until at least the 20th of December.
The Airbnb listing
