During my month of non-blogging (which feels suspiciously like it's morphing into two months of non-blogging, except that I'm typing this right now) I did re-photograph some old recipes, but then as I was placing the
new photos into the old
blog posts I found that it's honestly easier to write a whole
new post because I used to write my recipes into the post rather than a focused recipe.

Then Christmas came and among the repeats (pumpkin gingersnaps, crisp peanut butter cookies, banana nutella muffins, honey oat quick bread), my sister Rosie and I made some brand
new treats, but I forgot to take
photos and thus, no Christmas

As off Monday I learned that I was having a long shift Tuesday followed by a drive home to an early morning helping my mom a
new phone a late drive home after a bunch of laundry being done thank goodness another early morning to work short shift

My dietitian girlfriend was visiting from
New York the other day, and she mentioned how much readers of her
blog love to see her document everything she eats and drinks on a daily basis — complete with
photos and nutritional breakdown of every gram of fat, milligram of sodium and, of course, the dreaded calories.

It has been a little while since I posted on here, after a little break for many reasons I have decided to get back to it and start fresh with
new content, a bit of a personal twist to the
blog, instead of just adding
photos of various outfits I would like to add...
Most
photos you'll see on my
blog in the future will still be shot with my Nikon D90 in combination with my 50 mm f1.4 lens, that's just the best, but
photos made in other cities than Leeuwarden will probably be shot with my
new Samsung.
