New Special Exhibition Gallery Explores Masterworks of Alpine Art The Rockies and the Alps: Bierstadt, Calame, and the Romance of the Mountains The Newark Museum will mark the opening of a
new special exhibition gallery and its newly reopened Washington Street entrance with a major exhibition featuring beloved Hudson River School landscape paintings from the permanent collection and major loans from private and public collections.
The new masterplan comprised the restoration of Lowell's buildings, a general redesign of the circulation inside the museum, a new landscaping of the green spaces surrounding the complex, and the construction of an array of new spaces which included a new information center, the Art of the Americas Wing, a cafe, and
a new special exhibition gallery.

exhibition in 6 Burlington Gardens (formerly the Museum of Mankind), abutting the rear of the Royal Academy at Burlington House, will in due course be resolved by the
special skill of the architect David Chipperfield (also a Royal Academician) who successfully gave
new life to the Neues Museum in Berlin.

special new exhibition by Sean Scully begins at Leeds Art

In support of the building, as well as urgently needed scholarship endowment for students in the School of Art, an unprecedented fundraising initiative, The CalArts Art Benefit and Auction, will kick - off with a preview
exhibition at Regen Projects in Los Angeles on Feb. 26, 2014, continue with parallel shows at the Paula Cooper
Gallery and Metro Pictures in
New York opening on April 5, 2014, and culminate in a
special auction of major works donated by CalArts alumni, faculty and friends at Christie's spring auction on May 13 - 14 in
New York.
