Being in a
new house this
year I had some ideas in mind for

I tried spending very little money on seasonal

year, because I find my tastes change each
year and it feels silly and wasteful to buy
new stuff every
year — it's better to get creative and not go overboard — it will transition to the next season easier too!

I love blaring holiday tunes and unboxing old holiday
decor, and of course, adding
new pieces each
year.
This
year I also added what I know will be a
new staple in my
decor in this pom pom throw.
Over this past
year I have added a few
new favorite home
decor items and furniture into our house that I am excited to share with you today.
I have some vintage cobalt ornaments I love to decorate with, and now I'm wishing I'd pulled them out this
year... It's wonderful seeing you enjoy your first Christmas in your
new house — and seeing your personality shine through in your
decor.
Great post not only did I learn something
new, but now I've got ta go on the hunt for some pine cones and acorns to give it a try because I went shopping for fall
decor this past weekend and just couldn't bring myself to pay the high prices for it this
year.
The
new year is a great time to give our homes a good deep cleaning, reorganization, and restyling, which may even mean adding some
new decor or accessories to freshen things up.

New Year's Eve, we've gotten together to bring you some amazing party recipes, killer outfit ideas, and some great
decor!
It's the beginning of a
new year and finally our Christmas
decor is all packed away.
My holiday
decor is packed up (except for the lights in the trees that won't come down until the spring thaw — haha) and week one of the
New Year was pretty productive.
This little craft is the
newest addition to my winter
decor this
year and I just love how cute it is!
Between rushing to finish the cottage before
New Year's and trying to pack / organize our current home through the holidays, I just didn't want to drag out boxes of
decor to only pack them up again in a few short weeks.
My secret to keeping things
new and fresh while reusing old
decor is to add a few
new ornaments each
year.
So, if there's a motif to our holiday
decor this
year, it's «rustic glam,» and I even DIY'd some
new tree decorations this
year to fit the bill.
This
year is no different, I thoroughly look forward to decorating with a
new theme and creating custom
decor to coordinate.
If you have metallic garland, keep it around for festive
New Year's
decor.
I'm so excited to celebrate all the seasons and Holidays in our
new home and express my sense of style throughout the
year in my
decor.
The items I decorate with are things are truly love and want to be able to see all
year, so finding
new ways to use them and adding seasonal
decor to the mix is right up my alley!
