Next Generation of Veterinarians St. Simons Island, Georgia — January 19, 2018 — The Simmons Educational Fund (SEF)
honored Cynthia Kathir, a student at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, with the prestigious SEF National Business Aptitude
Award.
The winning veterinarian and veterinary nurse will be flown to Los Angeles to be
honored as part of the eighth annual American Humane Hero Dog
Awards ® on September 29, 2018, which will air nationwide as a two - hour special on Hallmark Channel
next fall.
This
award honors the volunteer who has assisted the humane educators of OHS, helping to inspire the
next generation to be kind to animals.
This year, Marriott Rewards took top
honors at the Frequent Traveler
Awards — temporary stand - in for the travel industry's Freddie
