I have seen other booster
seats that have
seat locks on adjustable straps, which seems
nice (
however I could also understand that may not be as safe as the «rigid
seat locks»).
The outboard
seats,
however, are most comfortable in the Toyota, with generous padding and a
nice contour to the
seat bottoms.
It has a
nice, high
seating position and rear
seats that are quite roomy (not so much in the third row,
however).
The extended cab area is
nice for putting extra things,
however very uncomfortable for passengers even though there are two drop down
seats with seatbelts.
The spare wheel is a space - saver,
however, which some might find off - putting, and finger pulls to flip forward the rear
seats would be
nice to have.
However, it's not all old - school, with push - button ignition (missing in the Trailblazer) and some
nice new leather padded
seats in the top - spec LS - Terrain, complete with white stitching (the Holden retains the old flat, shiny
seats previously used in the Isuzu).
Yes the
seats, armrests and steering wheel are covered in leather,
however that's simply not enough to save what could have been an otherwise
nice cabin had they used better materials.
Unlike most cars,
however, its equally as
nice to be the one sitting in that expansive back
seat.
