actors do what they can to make every scene intriguing,
none of these story elements add anything to the overall film.

of chaos in the party and likely is what frees up these
actors to stay absolutely focused on the script's fast and fierce comic timing.

none of that should distract from the overall trend in Hollywood to cast white
actors in non-white roles —
even when it's done unintentionally.
The wins were so unexpected that Aziz Ansari
even had this prepared for his cutaway during the announcement
of the Best
Actor gong, as the star
of Netflix's Master
of None prepared to lose to incumbent winner Jeffrey Tambor.
In this film, Polley has lost
none of her talent for working with
actors, and makes
even Seth Rogen — whom I have always found annoying — appealing.
What's worse is it sounds like several
of the
actors had to perform numerous roles (which is more common than you might think), but
none of them
even tried to do a different voice, resulting in long conversations where it almost seems like characters are talking to themselves.

of any kind whatsoever.
