Waititi uses him brilliantly, as he does the rest
of the Kiwi
actors (he
gives himself a funny cameo as
none - too - bright reverend).
Each
of the supporting
actors is memorable, and though
none does the kind
of heavy lifting required
of McAvoy, they help create the detailed picture
of college life that
gives the film its sense
of authenticity.
Ben Kinglsley, Linda Fiorentino, Greg Kinnear, all
of these are highly able
actors that have
given great performances in other films, but
none of these (and, yes, that includes the almost always flawless Kingsley)
gave me anything to enjoy from here.
None of the

give much to do although Roth's bizarre mannerisms and delivery are good for a chuckle here or there.
In all honesty,
none of the
actors really
gave a memorable performance that we haven't already seen in countless other horror flicks.

actors are strictly to
give a distinctive flavor to the ensemble, but almost
none of them exhibits enough on - screen charisma to make any lasting impression.
Perhaps
none of the
actors were
given free reign to take hold
of their characters and ad - lib something funny.

given actual characters to work with, and though Scott Thomas does her best to sneer her Lady Macbeth - like harpie to life, she's wasting her time.
Godzilla features so many notable
actors including Aaron Taylor - Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche, and Sally Hawkins, however,
none of them are able to showcase any
of their talent with what little the script
gives them to work with.
None of the three
actors has
given such strong performances in years; indeed, Adaptation may be their finest hour.
