as the PDB /
eReader format.
As I've mentioned on previous posts, this series of posts about how to read ebooks and what
ereader you might want to get focuses on what reading devices I've had personal experience with: the
nook and the iPhone.
Bit worried by this review, my prs t2 is dying & have been awaiting this release quite keenly,
as Sony has been the only
ereader who make organising books by series easy — had to return both a kindle &
nook as it was a nightmare trying to organise my books by reading series.

as you know how is barnes and noble doing in the
ereader business and how do they do compared to the kindle?Also I have heard kindle can download out of the pdf format but not the epub format like the
nook or kobo, in your opinion does that seem to be much of an issue with the kindle compared to the other
ereaders that can?

as a separate digital
eReader product for the Sony Reader, Kindle and
nook.
Considering the race to the bottom on
eReader pricing going on right now, it may not be long before we start seeing Kindles and
Nooks and even Sony Readers getting
as close
as possible to $ 100.
Hey guys — while I * totally * appreciate the freebie (PDF is a compatible format for the
nook ereader) I would have happily paid for the sucker,
as well; HOWEVER, the Kindle format is not
nook - friendly.
Actually, I was thinking that they could have avoided hardware entirely, but you're right in that they could have stuck with E-ink
Nooks and kept signing tablet makers
as partners (and
ereader makers, for that matter).
It powers dedicated
eReaders including Barnes & Noble
nook, Kobo, Bookeen
as well
as hundreds of custom
eReading apps on iOS and Android.
eInk Holdings, the company which supplies the screens found on most of the popular
eReaders on the market today such
as those on Kindles, Kobos and
Nooks have just released their last quarter earnings.
If this rumor proves true,
nook fans have some fun things to look forward to
as the
eReader feature gap closes up a little bit more.
The bad news, though, is that
as an
ereader it still lags behind the
nook and Kindle.
system,
as it is called, will be accorded the usual digital rights management one would expect out of Barnes & Noble, an industry standard ePub format for distribution, and a presence accessible through any of B&N's many platforms including the
nook eReader and their many computer - based software and cellular downloads.
While always a reasonable investment for the avid reader, some have had trouble justifying the expense of the more popular and full - featured of the
eReaders such
as the Kindle and
nook.
