ebooks could be accessed independently of
nook apps / devices.
Patrons will be able to access and check out these
ebooks offsite using a 3M Cloud Library
app on devices including iPhones, iPads,

What I don't understand is why you compared the
nook to the
nook app instead of the galaxy tab's default reading service;
ebooks and reader's hub?

eBook formats include mobi (Kindles and Kindle
apps), epub (iThings,
Nooks, Kobo Readers etc.) and PDF.
Or worse, there's no animation at all — no page turning or sliding animation for standard
ebooks (even the
nook iPad
app does this).
• The
nook's other cool feature, the ability to read full
ebooks for free inside of B&N stores, just like browsing books for real, isn't in the iPad
app, though B&N says it's coming.
