does make me slightly nervous — depending on how well it works, googlebombing could become an accepted and
normal tactic for influencing the information that's presented about friends and
enemies alike, which goes against the whole idea behind Google and other search engines (that useful and relevant information will naturally rise to the top).
Melee in this game is void of skill, it is nearly 100 % stat based and you can simply quick swing, power swing or block and the different swings only differences are damage and time taken to execute which in combat comes down to can i take him down with one or two hard hits or
do i need to block a bit and beat him down piece by piece there is no dodging to counteract your possibly poor block skill or lack of shield there is no need to understand
enemy attacks either they will hurt you if they hit you or if you block it it will hurt alittle or almost as much as
normal and with spells and archery its all relevant the spells
do elemental damage so the
enemy is either resistant, weak, or neutral to a spells type not to mention that every spell has its different element counterpart.

I think special attacks fill the virtual (at least you can't see it, unfortunately) aggro meter of
enemies,
normal attacks don't.
You might even meet higher ranking
enemies you don't see in
normal mode!
One character in particular is a pacifist of sorts, so he doesn't use guns and therefore makes it a challenge to face gun - toting foes, and has players crawl and take on foes one by one rather than having players play aggressively and blast through
enemies like
normal.
These attacks tend to
do large amounts of damage to a group of
enemies and can be used at any time — including the end of a
normal attack combo.
Keep in mind that
Enemies take off twice as much damage per hit and Green Herbs heal only a fraction of what they
do in
Normal mode.
Because the way I see it, you cant
do all those epic stuff to
normal enemies because Kratos is trying to supress his rage.
While
normal Hammer Bros. don't appear in the game, Boomerang Bros. and Fire Bros. appear in Somnom Woods and Neo Bowser Castle as
enemies.
The battles take quite some time and while this can be
normal in other RPG's, Romancing SaGa stacks up easy
enemies with hard
enemies all over the map, which
does hurt the pacing a bit.
However, a few moments
do exist when GRFS loses its flexibility a bit and strays too close to similar scenarios in other war games (waves of
enemies prior to extraction in one mission, segments where a turret is operated from a helicopter), which just aren't as good as GRFS «
normal gameplay.
And that
enemies do a ton more damage than they already
do, with faster / harder to dodge attacks still... That's gonna add a good few hours even for the best players, especially given how the basic game on
normal mode is already one heck of a challenge to beat.
Just because you have seen everything in the
normal mode or the 3Ds version, doesn't mean you already mastered every spawn point of the
enemies and items.
The game
does not only feature
normal enemies.
Ammunition scarce, there's no aim assist, and
enemies do more damage than
normal.
Shadow of War has made a significant improvement in this area as there are three balanced difficulty levels including easy,
normal and nemesis with the major differences being that the easy difficulty
does not fully integrate the nemesis system combined with less aggression from
enemy A.I. and less damage received resulting in a higher probability of victory during combat; therefore producing the best difficulty level for any player who wants to focus on the story.
For all the boasts about difficulty — and it is difficult, forcing you to actually unlock anything above «
normal» — the game also welcomes newcomers or those just wanting to tear around and have fun, with the «easy» and «very easy» modes making it no problem to simply tear through
enemies and have a grand time
doing so.
There are tons of
normal enemies too, and while some are recoloured during the later game (as harder versions of the creature), it
did not bother me a bit.
But remember, in Hard Mode
enemies have twice as much health as they
did before and you'll suffer more damage from inflicted wounds - so only take on Hard Mode if you've played through
Normal Mode and are ready for a real challenge.
Granted, no more than three or four show up in
normal battles at a time, but when it's the same five or so
enemies showing up, things
do get slightly repetitive once you've worked out the way to beat them.
He can also destroy Koopa Troopas, Koopa Shells and some multiple - hit
enemies by landing on them with it, but other than that, the Spin Jump
does not have quite the same power that it
does in Super Mario World - it will function the same way as a
normal jump when Mario lands on other
enemies or hazards with it.

enemy players have less health than in
normal the same
does not appear to be true for vehicles, skewing the balance significantly in favor of mounted players.
Players earn battle points throughout the match for completing many of the tasks they would already
do through
normal play, including killing
enemies or capturing an objective.
These encounters occur in specific locations in the castle and begin the same as
normal enemy encounters
