For sound explanation it is essential that we look for
genuine congruity between God and his world, rather
than that we attempt to find ways in which God can be removed from all contact with and reflection in that world and hence treated as
nothing other than the great «exception».
It prevents a
genuine understanding of real inequalities in the world in favour of a hollow, surrogate system of ethics that exploits images of inequality for its own ends and offers
nothing other than an empty promise not to make it worse.
