private lenders, artists include Albert Bierstadt, William Henry Jackson, Robert Henri, Elizabeth Dolan, Aaron Douglas, Aaron Pyle, William Ellsworth Artis, Donald Ruleaux, Carol Haerer, Sheila Hicks, Robert Weaver, Robert Adams, Barbara Takenaga, and Kent Bellows, among
numerous others.
The retrospective exhibition will present around 100 works
from all periods of Klee's career — starting in 1913 — and will bring together valuable
loans from numerous renowned institutions and
private collections in Europe and overseas.
Featuring
numerous loans from major international museums and
private collections, it provides an extremely rare opportunity to view Eva Hesse's late works, some of which are being shown in Germany for the very first time.
