This delicious recipe for a healthy honey
nut granola comes from my mother - in - law who has been making this for her morning breakfast for
about a year now.
One of the things I love
about granola is that it is a tasty and easy way to use up whatever
nuts / seeds / flours you have from other projects.
What I like most
about smoothie bowls is they are topped with extra goodies like fruits,
nuts, seeds, coconut flakes,
granola, etc..
This healthy
granola is just
about as easy as it gets, made without oil or
nuts.
Otherwise I'm all
about the
granola (which I combine with
nut butter and almond milk — makes a really thick crunchy
nut buttery mixture).
Those sound super-good, and I'm no kind of
granola person normally... I make the power bars from Sweet Gratitude because Phil's daughter adores them, and I can enjoy them when I make them, except that I don't care for sunflower seeds and worry
about all the
nuts.
When kids see mom and dad snacking on apples, kale chips,
nuts and low - sugar
granola bars, they're more likely to be open
about trying them.
