Recent habit is to have a drafted
OL guy sit anyway so maybe this makes some sense.
Again, I don't see them getting through 4 picks, especially their Day 2's without taking at least 1
OL guy and perhaps a pass rusher like Landry in the 1st, which move ILB back into Day 2 as well
I'd love having Oliver but not at the cost of
the OL guys who will be around at that point.

Not exact matches
Guys who were significantly behind existing players» pSparq include Austin Corbett, Colby Gossett, Alex Cappa & Mason Cole, (some of whom were at other
OL positions in college).
Add 1 top tier
OL (Norwell, Solder, etc) and 2 mid priced
guys $ 3 - $ 5M a season like Fluker, Fleming etc. maybe we look to the trade market for a Cordy Glenn for cheap.
They traded a first or second for each of those
guys (in addition to their best
OL), and not only did the acquired players largely underperform, but the lack of high draft picks brought them to where they are today: having to waste precious years of Wilson's prime to rebuild their defense.
If drafting a
guy is only worth it unless they have the supporting team around him then you're saying don't draft a WR until you have a QB, don't draft a RB until you have an
OL, don't draft a LB until you have a DT who can shield him, don't draft a corner until you have a Safety who can provide coverage over-top, don't draft a left - side edge rusher until you have a right - side edge rusher, etc etc (obviously these are exaggerations).
Every
guy on that starting
OL had experience last year except Fries, and he only got in this year because Bates, Wright, and Nelson were injured.
Nobody really talks Nelson as a choice but it lines up: (1) if he plays to scouting report, gold jacket test checked; (2) Getty came in saying «we need to fix the
OL»; (3) big
guys give you a chance to win.
Even though it's pretty universally regarded as an awful
OL class outside of Nelson, Wynn and the UTEP
guy??
Behind interior
OL I would put a
guy that can play 3 - tech and 5 - tech as their next priority.
The other thing to take into account is take make an evaluation on
guys like carl Nassib, the
OL we drafted and the WRs like Louis, Higgins and Payton and what we expect to see out of them next year.
On the
OL, if you have one stud paving the way, and another above average
guy helping out, but the 3 others that are meh or not used to playing with the other two, then you notice the meh one's much more than the
guy who's racking up pancake blocks.

guy here)
Both
guys are versatile quality
OL who can be C or G, arguably the 4th and 5th best interior linemen.
I know some
guys are out with injuries, but I'm interested in seeing who our coaches like as our starting 5 at
OL.
Tbh, Rankin from Mississippi State is seeming like a good move as he's a
guy who can still put on some weight to get up to 320 (pretty much the standard for our
OL) and has experience playing literally every single offensive line position while still being a good athlete and tenacious run blocker.
I think you really have to look hard at those
guys and how well their skills with their
OLs and elite teams will compare at the college level.
I guess I'm saying if you have a
guy you really believe in, upgrade the
OL to improve the running game and then put your 1st Round QB on the field and let him learn.
The Giants
OL has not been very good the last few years, and they just lost arguably their two best
guys... so at best, they're in flux.
