It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt
in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was
in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened...
in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up
front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss
in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had
in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up
on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him
in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him
in if they didn't intend
on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences
in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is
in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
And apart from Alexis Sanchez who operates

nice to see you crawl out
of your hole just
in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived
on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone...
in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts
of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product
on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class
players into the fold without being fearful
of how said
players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated
in the removal
of all our greatest
players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming
in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this club was no longer interested
in competing at the highest levels... instead
of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and
in doing so became the «
front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer club... without the «
front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion
in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger'

On the coach side we have a versatile squad so why always play a 4 -2-3-1 formation when we have the
players to also play a 4 -2-2-2 or a 4 -3-3 (with 1
player in front of the defense and 2
in more advanced position or the opposite).
Excellent stats for passing, tackling and work rate make him a top
player to have sitting
in front of the back four and if he carries
on scoring goals as well, surely he will have proved beyond doubt that Arsenal should have signed him this summer.
Why continue to be a middling team that misses out
on the top
player in the class when it only takes a few roster moves to skip ahead to the
front of the line?
Up
front we have a few world - class
players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished
player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more
on display than
in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack
of real intent have been the real undoing
in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a
front man, will only be as good as the
players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love
of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought
in from the get - go... both
of these
players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch
players, which should be the baseline test for any
player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste
of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment
of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack
on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those
in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think
of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Maybe
in front of goal take
on a
player directly and see what happens because he has the skill but otherwise, no.
Spoiler Alert people, we are not getting anyone
in the
front striker position OTHER than what we already have, there was a story
in the star yestrday about the 250 million wenger is looking to spend
on the likes
of Marco Ruess ect ect and I really can not believe that after all these years the Prof will change his ways and spend all that money and evern if he was going to he needs to pull his finger out as all the top
players are being strongly linked with other clubs, meanwhile we wait for the brat Vardy to make up his mind when we know he is highly unlikely to come to us another summer
of dissapointment for us as wenger has already stated that Giroud will lead the line next season.
We lost the plot long time ago due to Wengers know it all attitude. Why would a club
of arsenals pedigree be competing
on three
fronts with Bellerin as the only recognised right back? All our
players lack the agility and the physicality needed
in this league.Wenger has to leave and we have to get a gk, rb, 2 cd, dm, and 2proper wingers.WENGER MUST GO..
«Or you bring one
of them off and bring
on one
of the fastest
players in the Premier League
in Theo Walcott, you play him up
front and when the other team attack, you play
on the counter.
How can wenger blame the defence he has allowed it to happen, as Merson said surely there must be a young CB that could be used, when you look at the bench it shows how short
of defensive
players we are, why not bring
on Bellerin then move chambers
in front of the CBs, put theo
on just
in front of the RB, Wenger and Boulder should have been screaming to the
players» just sit
in» don't need to go forward, but they just sat there
Id play him
in front of the other two though as i never really did think he was greatly suited
in partnership with holding
player, its just when were
on top it looks good.
They may not be the most pleasing
on the eye, but England are a well organised outfit and have the
players more than capable
of providing that bit
of quality needed
in front of goal.
But for sure underinvestment doesn't deliver especially if u want to compete
on two big
fronts... Bellerin is the first
of our young
players to come through
in quite some time lots
of expectation
in last 6 years but can't think
of a real quality
player from the academy... Wilshere might if injuries hadn't prevented... Spurs now looking better
on that
front Attitude is key I agree totally... love the way Leicester hunt down ball
in packs and break with 3 or even 4
players moving at speed...
The club's Instagram post which presented the
player and club president Nasser Al - Khelaifi
in front of the Eiffel Tour generated 85,000 likes, with over 400,000 overall
on Instagram at the time
of the announcement.
This performance really does show that Arsene Wenger needs to get his coat and f@ck off!!!! Start your game with your strongest squad and then swap the
players when your
in front Giroud was not worth a pot
of cold p!ss, Sanchez who clearly lifts the team was sitting
on the bench for half the game I mean WTF????? surely anyone who doubts that Wenger has had his day has had proof positive that it's time to go Just shows what the team is like without sanchez We are sh!t and it's not about the quality
of the
players it's Thier manager and Thier attitude Its a total disgrace
«There was never any chance
of United finishing
in front of Chelsea and Manchester City this season, not even after they spent # 150.2 million
on new
players and recruited a coach with a distinguished reputation.
Despite the lack
of transfer activity
on the incoming
front, it seems there is a fair bit
of movement
in terms
of players possibly leaving the club before the window shuts.
We came second to Leicester mainly because
of the much greater demands
on the squad from our competing intensely
on 3
fronts, playing 2 tough games every week without any respite — whilst Leicester had only the League to focus
on, with only one game a week and crucially were given 2 weeks off to rest and recover their energy levels — over a period
in which we were handicapped by many injuries, loss
of form and confidence to key
players whilst Leicester had no such handicaps.
Not surprisingly some
players wilted under the combination
of all these pressures and its effects were noticeably severe
on the form and confidence
of those at the sharp end
of action — our 3 main strikers — Giroud, Walcott and Alexis — who suffered a sort
of collective ED
in front of goal and when a team can't score goals — the pressure
of all this got to them, and spread throughout the team, and affected our results particularly at home.
2 things; wenger has to take massive crtisism for favoritism with certain
players and for spending latley
on less than whats needed e.g why play ozil, ramsey, walcott, when they havnt performed, anyone can see a
front 3
of welbeck, sanchez and perez would cause havoc Xhaka wtf he cant takle, is not mobile enough and has the temper and the decision making skills
of a
of a suicide victim, why did nt we go
in for Kante less money and 10x a better
player or even Schneiderlin thinking about what happens after wenger ask yourself this will we win the league next year with wenger then ask if we got the right manager next year would we win the league
I know you are always happy just like Arsene is with results, but truth is Alexis and Ozil haven't signed new contracts for a reason and I'm pretty sure Welbeck and Lucas are so happy to see
players like Iwobi and Walcott being picked
in front of them despite doing pretty much nothing
on the pitch.
This is a scandalously large topic
on the lack
of fresh faces
on both the board and the coaching staff, but recently
players have come out and questioned the managers tactics like Koscielny did for the Chelsea game «I think we played some
players in front of others and I think we should have played more as a team and there was space to do so».
Bearing
in mind that
on most
of the weeks next season we might have to play
on Thur (Europa) and then again
on Sat, almost 2 sets
of top quality
players is needed to effectively compete
on all
fronts..
Scott remains one
of the best tee - to - green
players in the world and he navigated all that trouble with relative ease, scorching the Jack Nicklaus course with a
front nine 30
on Saturday.
Our current pairing
of Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny is much different though, as the summer signing from Valencia explains
in a report
on the Arsenal website, as they are both
players that like to defend
on the
front foot and are very similar
in their approach to the game.
Where
players play for the badge
on the
front and not the name
on the back, dominant
in all areas
of the pitch.
Arsenal was given one
of the weakest team
in this CL competition.Everybody expected a win, like by big margin but the whole match there was no fight and desire. The game was so poor at all
front last night.City and Man Utd played their hearts out even though they were defeated.Man Utd
players witnessed a horrific injury to their team mate, that will affect their focus and rhythm but they fought with desire to win the game till the end.City were the better team than Juventus, they played really good.I have even read an article
on Sky that states even though Man utd and City is defeated they still can qualify the group stage, thats how their performance were reassuring. But Arsenal were really poor from starting the game till end.Zagreb got their first win
in CL since 1999, that says it all.
Ideally, you want your important
players leading from the
front in those potential «winner takes all» games but,
on this occasion, Arsenal will have to do it
in the absence
of Ramsey.
