OS upgrade schedule reveals that the long - awaited Android Nougat 7.0 update is coming to Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on March 20th, 2017.
Rogers customers can expect to see Nougat roll out to their S7 and S7 Edge handsets on March 20th, according to
its OS upgrade schedule.
According to
the OS upgrade schedule shared by the carrier, the two devices are expected to get upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat, from the current Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, on March 20.
That includes Canada, where Rogers Wireless recently updated
its OS Upgrade Schedule which has the 6P due for the 8.0 OTA on September 11.

The Rogers
OS upgrade schedule webpage doesn't mention when the carrier plans on updating the S8, S8 +, G6, V30 and P10 to Oreo.
Still, it seems as though Rogers has been alerted to the pending update as
their OS upgrade schedule now shows it as coming soon.
This week, Rogers updated
its OS Upgrades schedule, noting that Cyan is «coming soon.: Unfortunately there is no specific date mentioned and Rogers states «release dates are subject to change.»

OS first, followed by folks who have any of these Nexus models: the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player and Pixel C. There's no word on when everyone else will
upgrade from 6.0.1 Marshmallow to 7.0 Nougat; that's a case by case
schedule determined by your phonemaker and possibly your carrier.
In the Canadian mobile carrier's list, the HTC Nexus 9 reflects its current
OS version (6.0.1) while the details of its
upgrade schedule specify that Android Nougat (misspelled as «Nouget») and Security Updates are coming soon to the device.
The developers behind Remix remind users of Jide's first tablet that the
OS 2.0 has been lying in beta form for some time, and a stable release is
scheduled via an OTA
upgrade soon enough.
