I just need something inexpensive for a floor redo in a boys bedroom (with
OSB subflooring).
At first I thought I'd find
OSB subfloor and thought I could paint huge squares on the diagonal over THAT, but my husband just informed me it's probably a slab since we have in - floor heat upstairs in that space.

There is no
OSB or plywood
subflooring used over these trusses.
Install a real duct across the
subfloor, and then protect it with something like the
OSB you see below.
