final version and hence this update as of now is not available via
OTA (over the Air), instead user will need to download and manually install the update.

version 3.0.1 — that purports to be a bit closer to
final, and if flashed manually actually puts you in line to receive a proper
OTA to the stable build.
Android Police says that the file is an official T - Mobile
OTA file that the carrier planned to use for the Galaxy S III soon, though the blog adds that this particular build still has some bugs related to Wi - Fi calling, the stock Web browser and the video player, so it likely isn't the
final version.
The update should be available as an over-the-air (
OTA) download, and those devices that are enrolled in the Android Beta Program will also receive this
final version.
