Ocean road stoping at the various scenic look outs along this magnificent coast line, Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge, Bay of Island to name a few.
Grab some great fish + chips at the Simpson Takeaway Cafe, then head to the Great
Ocean Road stopping off to sample chocolates and cheese at our Gourmet Trail producers including Apostle Whey Cheese and G.O.R.G.E Chocolates.
Within 1 hour of Melbourne, via Geelong you're on your way to paradise starting with Torquay, then meander along the Great
Ocean Road stopping at towns such as Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay and beyond.

There are plenty of places to visit along The Great

It's no surprise, Great

stopped to marvel at just how great a job mother nature had done in this little part of the world.

Melbourne to the 12 Apostles is about 4.5 hours (275 kms) non
stop driving along the Great
Ocean Road, less if go the inland route via Colac.
Accommodating to non drivers like us, for picking us up at Timboon and showing us around on a day tour round the area, having the patience to
stop over at all the lookout points along Great
ocean Road and only having late lunch with us after 2.00 p.m..
Loch Ard Gorge is one of the best
stop offs on the Great
Ocean Road — and it happens to be right next to the 12 Apostles.
The ride itself, without
stops, takes about four hours from Torquay, where the large archway announcing the Great
Ocean Road resides, to Warnambool, but for the sightseer, it is a full day's escapade, and some tours will even break it into two days, with a campout in between.
Stop by the Anglesea Golf Course to see kangaroos grazing on the fairways and continue to the Great
Ocean Road memorial archway at Eastern View.

Perhaps one of the more popular
stops along the Great
Ocean Road is the London Arch, formerly London Bridge before its freak collapse on the 15th of January 1990.
There's also a great memorial and sign hanging over the

Personally I found London Arch to be one of the better spots to
stop and enjoy the view along the Great
Ocean Road.
Further down the
road near Devil's Elbow just before Lorne is a rest
stop where you can bask in the knowledge you have completed the most difficult part of the drive — a single laned
road with cliffs to one side and the
ocean on the other — and looking onwards into the dense treetops of one of the many National parks.

ocean surface won't
stop the warming on the continents for most of the year so «The Day After Tomorrow» is out.
