I'd rather have a beautiful older home, updated kitchen and baths, lighting, plumbing, new roof, etc..

I've got to go with old houses that have aged well and have modern updates in the kitchen and bath.

The powder bath ended up in the old kitchen and the kitchen shifted over.

Not to mention, an old chandelier of my kitchen table, plank / bead board bath room walls, pieces of furniture being used as sink bases in both of our bathrooms, and wood floors are the things I desire to do this year.
