Contemplating the purchase
of an E-Book
Reader I checked out prices at various
sites, and was appalled to find that whilst you can buy the print copy
of an
older book for a few pounds + delivery, they wanted the full retail price for an E-Book.
Several
readers cited Vieux - Quebec, the
old, walled part
of the city, which is designated a UNESCO World Heritage
site, as «beautiful,» and «charming,» while others noted that the top - notch festivals, like the Festival d'Été and Winter Carnival, are reason enough to go north.
In response I explained my reasoning, and still feel that my
old disclosure policy (which explicitly mentioned Amazon Associates revenue) gave
readers the information they needed to judge any possible conflicts
of interest, but I've made it even more explicit so there's no mystery as to how I make (not very much) money from this
site: Google Adsense, Amazon Associates, blog subscriptions, and personal referral links to
sites like TopCashBack (the same links anyone else gets when they open an account).
Even MORE impressive is the amount
of detailed commentary, helpful and well - informed discussion, and plain
old proofreading that
site readers have managed in UNDER THREE HOURS here!
