I have just read the most amazing stat that Arsenal have
created more
chances than any
other team in the Premiership at a staggering 230, which
is more than even Man City at 228 but just look at the difference in goals scored!
He
was a major outlet for Ozil and Cazorla especially... if he wasn't at the end of those
chances, his diagonal runs to the left side of the pitch
was creating space for
others and Sanchez to come in on goal.
Ignorant fans would tell you that «wenger
is a poor tactician», but the board and some smart fans on the
other hand, know that arsenal

create allot of
chances but clear cut
chances like one on ones with keeper there
is no way that he
creates 5 to 6 of these on average and on any given day.
since he
's so good at assisting or
creating chances or bringing
others into the game or holding up the ball and less of a potent goalscorer, it'd
be fair to say he could try out playing in midfield or behind a Lethal striker!
If Sanchez
is fit and focus on Arsenal, he could
be a good playmaker in the front,
creating chances and assists for the
other forwards, like what he has done in the last three seasons.
My personal favourites
are that Ozil has
created more clear cut
chances in the Premier League than the entire Chelsea team have managed, and that he has more assists than the combination of the four
other big EPL creators Juan Mata, Coutinho, Hazard and Fabregas.
Monreal does
create a
chance every
other game but it
is clear that he and Wenger
are happy to leave this to the more creative players in our team with the left back providing defensive cover to give us a solid platform in games.
If we consider that Benteke
is as prolific as Giroud does, then I doubt about Benteke's link up ability to open and
create chances to
other Arsenal players.
If Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil both stay at the club to team up with Lacazette, they would form an attacking trident that
's much more dynamic and fluid than when Giroud plays up front, as they could interchange positions and
create chances for each

create chances, in the position he plays he should

chances in the game... even giroud and alexis

is that walcott made zero difference and only when ox appeared did we look more dangerous... for 10 minutes... but also by withdrawing coquelin and potential danger this brough....
what more arsenal.its a total waste with all that ball possession, if you watch most of these premier leauge goals scored by
other teams, they
are outside shots, or shots parried by the keeper etc, when a shot
is taken, it
creates tension, which could lead to a penalty etc, but at arsenal, its a different case... thats why we do all the ball possession and pressing, then when teams like watford get one or two
chances..
Everyone goes on about Ozil's amazing assist record, but let's
be fair, if our players had converted even a quarter of the
other chances he
created we would
be well clear in the League and Ozil would already have smashed Henry's assist record.
Back to goal he
is quite simply phenomenal and his ability to bring
others into play and
create scoring
chances for
others is first - class.

With more touches than any
other player and two decent
chances created from his deep lying midfield role, I
was certainly as impressed with the new Gunner as Murphy
was.
Great to see Welbeck playing in front, someone who looks like

others).
Back to the topic, as long as Sanchez keeps giving it 100 %, fighting for things,

others, getting in good positions and attracting opponents defenders leaving
other players free, smiling, enjoying his football and more importantly our club then I
am happy.
There aren't many reliable objective facts when it comes to Ozil — but knock out the emotional stuff and the diversionary fluff about body language etc and the bare numbers tell us he isn't lazy, he touches the ball more than any
other Arsenal player, re-cycles and passes it better than any,
is surer in possession and
creates more
chances.
And while I would not say that he has
been poor at it this season, because the stats tell you that he
is passing and
creating chances more often than any
other player in the Premier League, the little magician has not had quite the same influence for us.
