credit (keep in mind that your
credit score as well as
other factors are involved in determining if you qualify for a
credit card).

card or loan would lower my
credit score more than it
does when I apply for
cards through
other issuers?
What I really like about the announcement is that, when
other issuers are cutting back
credit card rewards and adding fees, PenFed chose to
do the opposite to increase the benefits for cardholders.

In
other words, if despite my medical issues I managed to keep my mortgage current but had some
credit card late pays, I want
card issuers to see why I had a problem, but I don't want future mortgage lenders to see that I ever had a problem at all.
While putting chips in
credit cards seems to have been the focus up until this point, the idea of putting them in debit
cards, as
issuers in
other countries
do, is a relatively new concept in the US.
