Just wanted to check something with you, based on recent blog posts... I have read people are eating this cereal warm... I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that warm is ok, but HOT is NOT... Flax oil turns into trans fat when heated at high temperatures... so if warm water is being poured into the cereal, no problem, but if it is boiling water, probably not the best idea... As for the cookie recipe, I have inquired and basically
an oven temperature at 350 and below is thought to be safe, so no problem there!

at a slightly higher
temperature as all
ovens can vary slightly.

As far as
oven temperatures go - I have great results
at 450F degrees WITH a pizza stone.
The biggest difference between my
oven and a dehydrator is that I can control the
temperature of the dehydrator
at lower
temperatures than my
oven.
This can be inside your
oven with the light on or if you're good
at judging
temperature pre-heat it for a few minutes with the door open.
That said, I find the second tray to be the most problematic because the
oven temperature fluctuates (
at least it does with my
oven) so it can be running too hot or too cool.
Usually, I toast the pecans in the
oven at a
temperature of 350 ° for 5 - 6 minutes but in this case, toasting them on the stove was quicker.
